Fire protection to the residents of Toms River is provided by 6 volunteer fire companies staffing 10 firehouses. The Fire companies are part of a Municipal Government and a non-profit organization that relies on the residents for its membership. The members of each company have answered thousands of calls over the years taking time out of their lives to help those in need. In recent years our calls for service have increased with the number of members staffing our companies decreasing. The following are the stations in Toms River and links to their web sites.
